RULES
1.) Safety

Please contact the full time faculty member or any UNT Make-A-Thon Volunteer if there are any health concerns
-
Competitors are not allowed to sleep at the Discovery Park Campus
-
Competitors are not allowed to sleep in their cars while their cars are parked in the parking lot
-
Competitors are allowed to leave campus and return
-
Discovery Park opens at 6 AM and closes at 11 PM
-
Competitors and volunteers must wear the designated wrist band throughout the entire competition

3.) Hygiene
​
-
Please address your personal needs to ensure a comfortable environment for all competitors
-
If showering in Discovery Park please use the designated showers.
-
If there is a need to change clothes that are worn, please do so in the appropriate restrooms on campus
-
Do not change clothes in the classrooms, hallways, office spaces, etc.

4.) Business Casual Attire is Required for Presentation Rounds
​
-
Presentation Round 1: February 8, Saturday, 4:30 - 6 PM
-
Presentation Round 2: February 9, Saturday, 10 AM - 12 PM
-
Presentation submission deadlines are strict and will not be accepted if the deadline is not met
-
Teams have 10 minutes to present and 5 minutes to answer questions from judges

5.) CAD Model is Required During the Second Presentation Round
​

It is encouraged that a CAD model is incorporated in a slide for your presentation during the first presentation round as well
​
6.) 3D Print Limitations
​
7.) Only UNT Make-A-Thon Volunteers Have Access to the 3D Printing Rooms
​
8.) No Cheating
-
No outside help is permitted from industry professionals, engineers, or faculty
-
​No sabotaging other teams​
-
Evidence of sabotaging will warrant disqualification​
